Hi lovely readers,
Again a very foggy and drizzly rain day, I'm really missing the sun, however it is expected for tomorrow to be a warm day up to 13C, but still cloudy, so we'll see how it goes!!!
Today I wanted to use colors that are neutral with a kick of golden. This time I use mostly MAC eyeshadows, especially a shade that is very famous and that all MAC lovers has which is Woodwinked. I think is a must have shade because is very beautiful and if you don't have it maybe you will like to consider it.
Products used:
EYES:
1. Essence I Love Stage Primer
2. Maybelline Color Tattoo Bad To the Bronze
3. MAC Eyeshadows :
- Woodwinked (on the lid)
- Sorcery (on the crease & lower lash line)
- Carbon (on outer 1/3)
4. The Balm e/s in Sassy from Nude'tude palette (on browbone)
6. Essence Gel Liner in London Baby!
7. L'oreal Million Lashes Mascara (1 coat)

Manicure Monday: Kleancolor 105 Military Green
Hi my lovely reader,
Wow! Today the weather is like a roller coaster; we had snow in the morning, freezing rain in the afternoon and rain on the evening ... Seriously??? Oh, and foggy night 0..0
Well today I have Kleancolor nail polish. I like the affordability of them but not the availability because the only place who sells them is a makeup warehouse near my house, otherwise I have to buy them out of EBay and pay shipping. As well I have to buy a whole bunch not just the colors i might want to buy. Anyways this store sells them two for $3 or $1.99 each.
What I like about Kleancolor nail polishes is that they are cheap and has a great range of colors. What I don't like is that they chip easily and some of them dries matte which needs a top coat to make it shiny.
Today's shade is 105 Military Green. This is exactly a deep shade of military green with a yellow undertone. This polish dried matte and dull so I had to add a top coat, Seche Vite of course!! This shade reminded me a lot of China Glaze Westside Warrior, which I did a review and a swatch of it here if your interested.
After carefully reviewing both colors I now come to terms they're both green but one is more yellow than the other one as you can check below
Hmm ... This has been fun eh? Thanks for stopping by, take care!!!

Gosh Eye Liner Pen Swatches & Review
Hi My Lovely Readers,
I can't believe how time flies, just 3 years ago my beautiful son was born and now we are celebrating his 3rd birthday. I remember it as if it was yesterday :)
Today I'll be reviewing Gosh Eyeliners. I love any kind of eyeliners that has vibrant colors like Pink, purple, navy, blue, brown etc. I just drool over it. Just before finding this eyeliners I use to use the NYX jumbo pencil and go over with a shadow, but that's extra step and doesn't go we'll if you have full makeup application and looks messy or not visible at all, unless you do that by itself just the liner, mascara and your good to go.
One day I went over Shoppers Drugmart ( the only drugstore that sells gosh) and go over the Gosh cosmetic section I never went because they are pretty pricy, so I saw the display:
So I drooled and I bought 002 Turquoise: a beautiful turquoise metallic and amazing color. The application is amazing very easy to use and stays forever and once is set it doesn't budge. Because I liked so very much I went back and bought 003 Brown. What can I say they are amazing I will definitely keep buying, I don't mind paying $15 for an amazing product. Urban Decay sells similar products in a variety of colors as well; more than Gosh. I bought one called Retrograde which is a shimmery purple and the brush is very thin and easy to use. Sephora sells them for $23 each.
Gosh eyeliners are definitely more cheaper than Urban decay, they are comparable but not a dupe. Although they both set quick, a huge plus for Gosh and UD.
Here are some pictures:
Did you like it, are you willing to give them
A tried if is available in your area??
Till my next post ... Take care!!!

Prestige Primed & Ready Eye Primer Review
Hi how are ya'll doing??
Well today is brutal. Why you ask? well is 3rd day into the freezing cold temperatures and I had enough!! Again is -22C and tomorrow is less colder but is going to snow and then back to freezing temperature AGAIN :( ....
Anyways today I am reviewing Prestige eye Primer Primed & Ready. This primer is amazing, is one of my favorite primers aside from the Too Faced shadow insurance. The texture is pinky and liquidy but not as much as the shadow insurance. I like this primer because it holds my eyeshadows like I just put them on even if it was 10 hours ago.
I bought this at Rexall for $6.99 it was on sale, regular price is $13.59 I never thought this would become my favorite primer ever.
Since I do own the primer shadow insurance which cost $24 at Sephora, I can say this is an exact dupe at the fraction of the price. I will definitely keep on buying the prestige primer for sure.
So what does Prestige Primed & Ready Primer say:
Hides imperfections and creates a smooth canvas for eyeshadow application. Increases the length of eyeshadow wear, and makes color more vibrant. Vitamin E and chamomile help to soothe and condition the skin.
So since they mention the ingredients in their verbiage I thought I should include it in this post.
INGREDIENTS: Isododecane, Talc, Mica, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Trihydroxystearin, Polyethylene, Triethylhexanoin, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, VP/Eicosene Copolymer, Dimethicone, Caprylyl Glycol, PEG-40 Stearate, Microcrystalline Wax/Cera Microcristallina, Propylene Carbonate, Carthamus Tinctorius (Sa ower) Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract. May Contain [+/-]: Mica CI 77019, Titanium Dioxide CI 77891, Bismuth Oxychloride CI 77163, Iron Oxides CI 77491 / CI 77492 / CI 77499.
Also Prestige primer has .5 fl oz or 15 ml and Too Faced has 11g or 0.35oz. You definately get more product from Prestige
Till my next post ...
PS. sorry for the quality of the pictures they were taken from my Ipod Touch

Manicure Monday: Maybelline Color Show Wined & Dined
Hi there:
So today I decided to come up with a new series called "Manicure Mondays" that means that every Monday I'll be featuring nail polish swatches of the week, also you might see them as MM. I thought that this was a fantastic idea just to features a nail polish every week since I'm running out of ideas on what to post.
Today ill be featuring Maybelline. Color Show nail polish in Wined &Dined. This is a dark brown with a hint of cranberry, plummy color, It has a multicolor hidden shimmer.
The formula was quite terrible I was disappointed since it was my very first purchase from this line. I did 3coats for picture below, the first coat was very sheer, the second coat did cover abit more but in between it did bubble and when I did my third coat it was a mess. Thank goodness for top coat because that did help to look a bit more polished and less messy, I used Seche Vite.
My impression with the color show line was very poor and I decided not to buy any more polishes however, couple days ago I went to walmart and I spotted some good unique colors so I bought them, expect to see them soon. I just think that maybe I got a bad batch of Wined and Dined nail polish bottles. I really like this color a lot, but I'll give it another try and see how it goes!
What I like is that this is widely available and very affordable. Walmart has it for $2.46 and Shoppers Drugmart for $3.99, of course SDM has more colors and limited editions more than Walmart.
Until my next post ...

NOTD Sally Hansen Pacific Blue Swatches and review
Hi Dolls:
Today I have a quick post of my mani. Sally Hansen is one of my favourite brands, not only because they are affordable also because they have a wide range of colors. Not all of their polishes are amazing but most of them are.
Pacific Blue nail polish is one of my fave, Its a one coater as it is in the picture, however i could've done 2 coats you can still see some bold spots, aside from that the formula was great.
Till my next post see ya!!!

FOTD: Turquoise Smokey Look (How to Make Brown Eyes Pop)
Hi beauties,
Today is very cold day, I just can't believe how the weather actually behaves just a few days ago it was 16 degrees and now is -10 and snowing.
On a brighter note, I have a look of the day with bright eyeshadows I actually wore it to work. I used colors that will actually compliment my dark brown eyes. I think that these colors compliment any browns eyes, that is if you dare to wear bright and bold colors. Maybe this look will look a little exaggerated but that's be cause I have heavy droopy lids and very deep eyes, that when I open them you can tell I wear eyeshadow unless I wear it higher than any person with nice lids haha! The products used are a mix of drugstore and mid-end products.
Products used:
For Eyes:
1. E.L.F eyelid primer
2. Maybelline Color Tattoo Tenacious Teal
3. L'oreal Infallible eyeshadow 031 Innocent Turquoise (used on lid)
4. Wet N Wild Confort Zone (eyelid, Definer and browbone were used)
5. Wet N Wild Blue Had Me at Hello (Definer used on crease)
6. Maybelline Falsies Mascara
7. Gosh eyeliner Blue Lagoon (used along lash line)
8. Annabelle Smoothliner Black (used in waterline)
For Face:
1. Maybelline Fit Me! Foundation 220 mixed with L'oreal Magic Smooth Soufflé 532 Clasic Tan
2. Revlon PhotoReady Powder 030 Medium Deep
3. Almay Clear Complexion Concealer 300 medium
4. Mac blush Dollymix
I hope you liked this look and maybe try it out for summer perhaps??

Quo Couture Eyeshadow Duo Review
Quo Couture Eyeshadow Duo |
Today I have a duo eyeshadow palette by Quo. Quo is only sold at Shoppers Drugmart. This duo was released either 2011 or 2012. I actually bought it in the summer of 2012 and it was originally retailed at $10 each duo, however I found it on the clearance bin for $2.50 I really thought it was a deal so I bought two. Each duo was in the box in which was equally decorated as the packaging. The boxes had the name but not the palette itself , so what I did was that I had to look into the other boxes to see if it matched to the one I chose. In case you have it and yours is a different name let me know. The quality of the eyeshadows are very creamy and go on smoothly. I am very impressed by the packaging and the quality, you can tell that they really put a great deal of thought into their product. The color selection was a lot to be desired as most of the colors was really into the neutral shade. Some may argue that the color selection was appropriate since most people gravitate towards neutral shades, however for a gal like me I would have liked to see more brighter colors. I can see why they did that since a lot of cosmetic companies are coming with nude shades as that's what the new trend is.
So here are some pictures for you to see what I'm talking about.
Quo Couture Duo Eyeshadow a look of the inside of the duo. |
Quo Couture Beauty Mark |
Quo Couture Shadowy Lady |
Shadowy Lady, the first color comes with a light cranberry pinkish color that looks frosted in the pan but its more like shimmer than a frost. The second color is a dark grey with silver shimmer in it giving it a very nice dimension to the eyeshadow.
I hope this review has helped you in anyway maybe if you are in Canada you will likely pick any Quo products. The thing about Quo is that most of their collection are limited time only and once they are gone they mean it haha.
Untill my next post ... take care

*Series I would Love to Hate: Maybelline Intense XXL Volume Mascara
Hi lovelies,
Today I'll do my third installment in my series. I think that mascara is what makes or brakes a look, whether you use any makeup at least most people do use mascara. Mascara is a little tricky just because everyone likes they're mascara in their own way however most of us is looking for volume, thickness, length and just to look their very best. My eye lashes are straight and not very visible you could say they're very thin. I usually use two mascaras one for separating and the second one for thickness and length.
I decided to use this mascara, this mascara is a double ended tube. That means that it has two steps, one side has a primer which most is white and the other end is black, this mascara promises all of the above already mentioned and miraculously it worked, my eyelashes were very curly and lengthen and very pretty, I was definitely impressed and it became my favourite mascara of all time; I was even ready to buy some more in case they got discontinued. After a couple of uses I found myself tearing up and itching very badly, as well I just couldn't use my contacts I just thought that I was becoming allergic to them. Then, I discovered that it was due to the mascara and nothing else. I was so bummed just because I really like the mascara too bad I'm allergic to it.
Overall I would repurchase it, but I won't. Here are some pictures just to see how the mascara looks like. I really like the wand. Its very thin and has different lenght of bristles which makes the lashes be "spiderout" a little.
So with this mini review and my personal experience with the mascara maybe has helped you making a decision whether to give this mascara a chance or not. Also, this mascara is microfiber which maybe it means that thats what i'm allergic to, but I don't know since I haven't tried any other mascara with this kind of formula.
Till my next post .... take care hope you comeback ;)

New Years Eve Makeup Look
Hi Lovelies,
Today I want to post my New Years Eve look I did. I know I'm kind of late for it but I was so ready to post it on New Years day but I was so tired from my previous day. I work at a fast food restaurant and it was very busy. When I came home I was beyond tired, I reached home 20 minutes away from midnight, phew just in time to be home with my parents and son. So I did this look and I got a few compliments because it was just very festive, along with my nails you can see my previous post.
This look was made with drugstore products and here is a picture.

Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez collection "Kissed at Midnight" Swatches and Review
Hi Lovelies,
Happy New Year, sorry everyone I've been very busy and I've paused my blogging posts. It's been 2 weeks since New Years and now I can actually make a quick post, I feel ashamed for not updating any sooner.
My love for nail polish is huge. It makes my hand super feminine and girly at the same time, is like changing outfit to my nails. Last week one of my nails broke so I'm quite sad because I can't actually do any proper picture. On my left hand the only big nails I have is just the middle and ring fingers, the other ones are short.
On a positive note however, I did a manicure inspired on New Years, using one of the new nail polish collection that Nicole by OPI did in collaboration with Selena Gomez. I bought two from the collection and one of them is a glitter top coat called Kissed at Midnight. This polish it has gold hex and silver finely milled glitter on a clear polish. The bottle it has it signature shape but I like how they now has the name of the celebrity stamped on the cap, that way you will certainly remember what the polish belong to which collection.
This collection was supposed to be released in January 2013, However I saw it at my local Walmart 1 week before the end of December 2012, and 2 weeks at Shoppers Drugmart. Shoppers Drugmart was retailing it at $8.99 and Walmart at $7.99. You can go out and buy it because is only released for a limited time.
For this manicure I did one coat of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in 370 blackout then I layered two coats of NOPI in Kissed at Midnight. I hope you like it, I just thought it was very festive and I hope that 2013 it started better than 2012 was.
