Manicure Monday: Nicole by OPI "Stolen Kisses"

Hello there ladies:

Lately I've been in the kick of Fall although we are still a few days away to be officially in the Fall season. I typically don't like this kinds of colors as I find them to be very wearable and so common but I decided to give it a go.

Stolen Kisses: is a rich pink-magenta creme.

Overall this is not a color that appeals to me with a 'wow' factor, however in the bottle you can see ribbons of gold  which definitely don't get to see in the nail, I really would've wanted to see that, would've given the polish a different look. In the end I ended up coating my nails with Essie's Pure Pearlfection top coat to give the manicure a different dimension

The only reason I bought this polish was solely for the name 'stolen kisses', is a funny cutsy name, any OPI product has a  cute, funny or remarkable name.

The application was a tiny bit watery but nothing that would make me feel bad using it. The brush is good as always giving me a good control over the application. For photo above it took two coats of polish, which I kind of expected since I know Nicole by OPI makes good polishes.

This is a limited edition polish but Nicole by OPI can be found at any mass retailers across Canada for $8.99 to 9.99.

I hope you have liked this post and please come back for more ... Thanks for reading xoxo

Mani Monday: OPI "If You Moust You Moust" From Minnie Mouse Collection

Hello There Ladies:

Happy Canada Day!!! Today is our 146th birthday for this amazing countey and i fe el so very proud!!

I want to start by saying that this is not the most unique color but it is very pretty and why not elegant looking color that makes your hand very girly but polished haha.

This polish was launched for the 'Vintage Minnie Mouse' collection in which they launched 3 shades and a glittery top coat. Out of the 3 polishes the most interesting was this one.

If You Moust You Moust: is a bright pink creme.

I had no application issues with this, although it was a bit watery but workable. For picture above it took 3 coats for opacity added China Glaze Fast Fordward top coat.

This was a limited edition shade that came out back in May of 2012 in different nail salons for $9.99. However, it might be available but if not they might just relaunch it in some other collection if not you might just find a closer shade in another brand.

I hope you liked this mini review ... Thanks for reading and please follow on Instagram under same name! xoxoxo

Manicure Monday : OPI Sprung "Mariah Carey Collection"

Hello There My Lovelies!

Today I have this nail polish from OPI which is from Mariah Carey collection which was launched at beginning of this year, or for spring of 2013. For the launch of this collection they released 4 Studio Shades and 4 Stage Shades. The Stage Shades are what OPI is calling Liquid Sand which is gritty matte glitter.

I only bought two polishes out of the eight that they released. One for their regular line and one of the liquid sands called Get your number.

Sprung: is a copper with multicolored shimmer.

Application: this one as many OPI polishes have good consistency. It took 3 coats to get full opacity to get shiny results. Top coat is not really necessary but for extra life out of your mani then I guess is needed.

When I saw the bottles display at my local Beauty Salon I had high expectations for this polish. This really stood out for me the most that made me buy it. Now that I have applied and seen it on my nails I don't feel as it has that 'wow' factor that I had when I first saw it. Is it pretty? Yes! But it lacks that metallic, in your face kind of look.

Anyways what did you think about it? Is it worth picking it up?

Where can you buy it? At any beauty salon or any store that carries OPI polishes, however this were limited edition polishes, so I'm not sure whether you can still get your paws on it. OPI polishes are retailed as low as $9.95 or as high as $11.

I hope you have liked this post and stay tuned for 'Get Your Number' swatches. Don't forget to follow me on Instagram and Facebook both under canadianbeautyfinds ... Thanks in advance and take care xoxoxo
